The First Destruction - by Air

_{And the race of man was led and taught by the angels of heaven, for Pan did}

 _{not return to heaven because he had joined himself to mortal wives and his} 

_{spirit was forced to remain in the bodies of his offspring.  The race of men increased}

 _{and grew great in power and wisdom age after age.  And so it was after many} 

_{ages, in the time of the Age of Aquarius, men became so wise in their own conceit}

 _{that they had created for themselves philosophy after philosophy containing all the}

 _{knowledge of men.}  

_{This pleased them much better than the pure-primitive religion of the  Father.}  

_{Wisdom was forgotten, except by a very few of the wise.  The spirits of the angels}

_{of God were still with men trying to teach the true wisdom but the entire world} 

_{forsook the simple for the vastly more complicated and confusing philosophy}

 _{of the world.  They began to fight and kill and destroy each other in the name}

 _{of the Father and peace could not be found in the whole world!}

_{Then God said, "I truly see that it is not the knowledge, but the searching that} 

_{teaches men true wisdom.  I must therefore, destroy this body of man-made} 

_{knowledge and reasoning which passes for the true religion in order to free} 

_{the minds of men from its dominance."  Then he breathed upon the world} 

_{and the race of man was no more, for the air grew hot, even unto cremation} 

_{in all the flat lands and valleys of the whole world, and man was destroyed.}
