_{In the beginning, the legends of the Wise Men tell of a blank, dark universe without stars,}

 _{suns, or any other source of energy.  Even the proto-matter from which electrons are}

 _{made lay still without motion, an utter absence of heat and light. A huge star-ship, a celestial}

 _{world, a sun, inhabited by very advanced beings  of almost pure spirit, moved into this}

 _{section of the universe, and came to rest at the very center of this huge mass of silent,}

 _{dead matter.}

_{Starships of this nature are named for the captain of the ship, and the captain of this}

 _{particular starship was named Kolob.  He said, "This is the place reserved for us from the}

 _{beginning of time.  Let us make this a place of glory; let there be light.  And so they thought}

 _{together, and with the vibrations of their thought waves, they started the tiny particles of}

 _{proto-matter to vibrating in unison. Vibration caused a warmth to develop.  Faster and}

 _{faster the particles vibrated until they gave off heat; then faster and faster till they finally gave}

 _{off light.  Thus was created the very first element of the universe - FIRE.} 

_{When one creates a thing, its opposite is also created. Nothing can exist without its opposite}

 _{- neither light without darkness, nor heat without cold, nor love without hate, nor fire without}

 _{water.  Protomatter vibrated in the opposite direction from fire; Thus was formed the second}

 _{element of the universe, WATER.} 

_{Opposites always react upon each other in one way or another.   So it was that fire and water}

 _{came together in counteraction.  The fire turned the water to steam and thus was created the}

 _{third element of all - vapor, or AIR.}  

_{The air then joined with fire in the battle with water, and the water was destroyed.  The residue}

 _{from all the water settled out as it turned to steam, first to become mud, then earth.  This was}

 _{the forth element, EARTH.} 

_{All this matter was unorganized and lay at random throughout the universe.  The dwellers}

 _{within this huge sun were of a very high state of advancement.  So much so that many ages}

 _{before, they had given up the restrictions of body and form - existing as pure spirit.  All had}

 _{been perfected in the place from which they had come, and were no longer male and}

 _{female, but had merged one into another until they became a perfect whole.}  

_{Then Kolob entered into their unity and children were born.  Kolob said, "Let us make for}

 _{them places of lower vibrations and less god-like sensations.  These will be the nurseries}

 _{and schools for our children until they have attained sufficient maturity to return to the}

 _{celestial world."} 

_{Then they thought together again and passed an eternal law of attraction which caused the}

 _{matter now called fire, water, air and earth to come together in one place, and thus they}

 _{created the first world.  But this world was dead, being still born, and there was no motion or}

 _{life on it.  Kolob decreed that then, and for all time in the future, all worlds would receive life,}

 _{light, and warmth from the star which had created them.} 

_{Then he placed the newborn of the celestial world into bodies suited to the environment of}

 _{the new world, that they might grow and learn until they were ready to return to their parents}

 _{in the celestial world. The children did grow and learn until finally, having attained a portion}

 _{of perfection, the eldest returned to the celestial world, and being full of love for his Father}

 _{(the Great Kolob) said, "I have only the desire to serve thee, Mighty Father."}

_{Then Great Kolob replied, "Thou hast spoken it with thine own lips. The only way to serve me}

 _{is by serving my other children, so that they might follow the straight, narrow and difficult}

 _{path that leads to spiritual perfection."  The perfected child was then sent back to help his}

 _{younger brothers and sisters so that they might gain perfection, for only in the attainment of}

 <sub>spiritual purification can one enter into the celestial world. 

Soon many of the other children were perfected and laboring in the mortal world, teaching</sub>

 _{and helping other children until a full third of the spirits of the world were perfected."} 

_{Kolob saw that there was no room in the starship for them. He sent the eldest of the dwellers}

 _{of the starship - the first mate - to be captain of the new starship.  Together, they raised the}

 _{vibrations of the world until it became a huge star-ship with its own light and celestial life and}

 _{thus a new star was born - the first star in the heavens beside Kolob.  Many of the children of}

 _{this world could not stand the high increase in vibrations as their world became celestialized.} 

_{Kolob and his people created yet another world for them until there existed all the worlds that}

 _{the energy fields of the giant star could cover.  Thus it was true that only the perfected}

 _{ones, who were a third of the total of the children of the world, were able to live in the new}

 _{celestial world - a new starship.  The new star moved away from Kolob's energy pattern and}

 _{in due time, put out worlds of its own for its own children born in the new celestial world.}

 _{Kolob decided that this was good and he decreed that from that time and henceforth}

 _{whenever a full third of the spirits raised on a particular world shall gain perfection, that}

 _{world would become celestialized and would be given to the next senior spirit of that solar}

 <sub>system.  

Thus began the celestial plan which has filled the heavens with suns, stars, and worlds.  As</sub>

 _{Kolob grew older and wiser and the dwellers of his star grew older and wiser, the vibrations}

 _{of their world increased from a yellow, to a pure white, to a blue white, and went even}

 _{higher beyond the realm of visible sight so that in this day his vibrations are so high that we}

 _{cannot see his world.  But neither can the light pass through.  His home and that of his oldest}

 _{children lie in the dark and impenetrable section of the very center of the universe.}
