The Third Destruction (by Water)

The Birth of the Moon

_{Again, a remnant of man was saved.  The rocks did not pile up in the mountains, but}  

_{destroyed all who lived in the valleys and flat places of the world.  Once again those} 

_{of the lineage of angels drew the world back from savagery after seven generations.}  

_{This time, upon revelation from the Father they created a new speech for each of} 

_{their seven tribes, for the whole world had formerly spoken one tongue.}

_{And in those days, there were eleven worlds before the throne of the Father, for}

_{Lucifer and his world together with one third of the spirits, had been cast into}

_{outer darkness to become a new-born sun.  And they were: Vulcan, who lies} 

_{like a babe in his father's arms; Mercury; Venus; Earth; Abel (who was slain);} 

_{Mars; Jupiter; Saturn; Uranus; Neptune, and Pluto.}

_{Out of the darkness of space came a huge black world of high density.  It slew Abel by} 

_{striking him head-on, shattering him into fragments.  His body today lies as shattered} 

_{asteroids of the Belt.  The huge world of destruction then struck the earth a glancing} 

_{blow, knocking loose a huge chunk of the earth's surface, flinging it into space where} 

_{it lays to this day -  the daughter with her face always turned toward her mother.  But} 

_{now the earth was no longer balanced on its axis.  The land mass, which had lain as} 

_{a cooled, solid crust upon the molten interior of the earth began to break apart and} 

_{the pieces started to drift away from each other.  Thus the continents were formed.}

_{Before this time, the land had been one mass.  This land divided the ocean of the} 

_{north from the ocean of the south.  Continents were flung from the equator to the} 

_{arctic in minutes and the animals were frozen alive and remain there to this day.}

_{Some lands sank and some lands rose from the ocean floor, until the whole face} 

_{of the world could not be recognized.}

_{And there was a huge hole in the surface of the earth, thousands of miles wide,} 

_{opening down into the fires in the center of the earth.   The waters of the sea} 

_{poured into this hole.  Steam filled all the air over the entire world so that the} 

_{sun was not visible, and darkness reigned supreme.  The vapor became rain and} 

_{poured down upon the earth for forty days and forty nights without ceasing.}  

_{And the land sinking and the huge tidal waves and upheavals caused} 

_{the third destruction of the seventh race of men.}
